Researchers use NMNH in vitro experiments to detect its ability to enhance NAD+ levels in cells. Adding different concentrations NMNH to mouse liver cells, it was found that NMNH increased the level of NAD+ in cells, but also accelerated the rate of increase in NAD+ concentration and Suppresses Glycolysis, the TCA Cycle, and Cell Growth.
